Alana Macartney Owner Brillare Equine
Alana has spent her entire life involved with horses and dogs both as a hobby and professionally as a McTimoney Animal Chiropractor. Over the years, Alana noticed that in order to get quality products, she was forced to pay ridiculous prices and the lower priced items didn't last as well meaning they needed replacing more regularly. Alana was very excited when she discovered Brillare products which are not only great quality but also reasonably priced meaning that she could spend less on looking good and more on doing what she really loves....training and competing with her horse. Alana is dedicated to ensuring that every product that Brillare provides is something that she would be happy to use and priced fairly. She has big ideas for the business and loves customer feedback!

Upon finishing his A levels in 2015 he decided to take a year out to pursue his passion of Show jumping and due to tremendous success and enjoyment, that gap year turned into a career.
Jonathan started riding when he was 5 years old and has competed ever since through ponies and into horses. He and his father have been lucky enough to source a great string of horses and Jonathan feels very lucky to be able to compete on them. He has horses of all ages that he is producing currently from 4 year olds right up to Grand Prix level.
Jonathan feels very lucky to have been trained by former world champion, Dermott Lennon for the past 2 years. He has also won bursaries to Florida to Train with Andrew Bournes and Switzerland to train with Martin Fuchs.

These are just a few of the wins and placings that mean a lot to Jonathan and he is hopeful that many more will follow.
His plan for 2019 is quite exciting. He has what he believes is the horse of a life time in Mulvin Lui, who is now 9 years old and who with some luck and a lot of hard work he hopes to take to the very top of the sport, competing in Europe and at home in Ireland. He also has some smashing younger horses who he will produce at home in Ireland to prepare them for RDS Dublin Qualifiers before taking a few of them to Europe in the autumn.
Jonathan has been using Brillare fly veils for a while now since his sister bought him 3 for his birthday. He is really a fan of the design, especially the tie down veils as they "fit to perfection".
